FINAL TOTAL
LAKE VYRNWY SPONSORED WALK 18th JUNE 2016.

We are now able to announce that this years Charity Walk raised a total of
£2713.75p for Brain Tumour Research.

Although this figure is much lower than in previous years it is still
a substantial amount raised to help fight this devastating illness.

Our thanks to everyone who took part and gave their support.

Before the startof this years walk we were pleased to make a further
£20000.00
donation to Brain Tumour Research
Dr Sarah Kohe, Research Fellow (Children's Brain Tumour Research Team),
recieved the cheque on behalf of
The Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences University of Birmingham

This donation will fund further Brain Tumour Research
into the causes of this devastating illness.

A big thank you to everyone who helped with and supported this years walk

Timing details are as previous years with the walk starting at 10.30am approx.
Can all walkers please register between 09.30am & 10.15am
at our reception marquee located the at the rear of Severn Trent Water offices,
near the top of the dam. Post code Ref SY10 0NA.

Balloons will again feature at the event and all walkers will be allocated
as many as the want to carry around the route.

Please note there is a number of parking areas close by
and there are no charges for parking at Lake Vyrnwy.
Our finish line is back at the base marquee.
As usual we shall have complimentary Tea, Coffee & Light refreshments
available for all Walkers & Supporters.

After the event as a thank you to all walkers,
we shall again have a prize draw and one lucky walker will take home
this superb 30"x 20" Canvas Print. of Lake Vyrnwy
