Examining the metabolism of Childhood Brain Tumours using Mass Spectrometry

We are pleased to advise that we have finally been able to donate a further
£20000.00
in order to continue further Brain Tumour Research at the

Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences, University of Birmingham.

This funding had been agreed after progressive discussions in June 2019
however due to technical issues and subsequently the outbreak of Covid -19 this year,
it had not been possible until now to put in place all the necessary protocols
to progress with this exciting and challenging research.

Unfortunately because of the social distancing measures we are all now dealing with
it has not been possible to arrange an official cheque handover as we have usually done in the past.
Instead this funding has had to be transferred by electronic means via the banking systems.

However we do have a PDF link shown below which outlines in great detail what this new research funding will be used for over the next 12 months.
